Trainee Accountant - Audit

Allen Accountancy Recruitment's client is a well known, well established and dynamic independent Accountancy practice. The firm currently requires a Trainee Accountant to join one of its Audit teams.
The role will involve assisting on the audits of a client base consisting mainly of small and medium sized companies from a wide variety of Industry sectors. The job holder will be training towards the ICAS or ACCA qualification.
Suitable applicants will ideally be second year trainees in either ICAS or ACCA and will have previous audit experience within the OMB/SME sector. Experience with a mid-tier Accountancy firm will be advantageous but not essential and Big Four candidates will be considered.
